The Re-Entry Employment Service Program (RESP) is an employment program dedicated to the formerly incarcerated or any individual with a criminal conviction who may need help with finding employment.

Steps to Enroll

The following steps are recommended:
  1. Start by watching the Re-entry Employment Service Program Video (1:20).
  2. Call or apply in person at an IDES office nearest you.
  3. Request an interview with a local RESP Liaison.
  4. Complete and print the Job-Readiness Checklist
  5. Bring the following items to your interview:
  • identification card and;
  • job-ready checklist and;
  • resume, if you have one and;
  • the rest will be discussed during your initial assessment interview.
