Job Description Any person responsible for practical care of the horse: feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls and attending to its general care.

  1. Documented evidence of an offer of employment before being granted a license;
  2. Evidence of experience in care and handling of thoroughbred race horses. Such evidence shall be established by: previous licensure as a groom by any racing jurisdiction; or one (1) year's experience as a licensed hotwalker; or written evidence of employment as a groom at a thoroughbred training or breeding establishment.
