Job Description An engineer who is enrolled as an "engineer intern" as a result of qualifying by education and examination.

Education/Experience
  1. Graduate of an approved engineering curriculum of at least four (4) years; or,
  2. Graduate of a non-approved engineering curriculum or a related science curriculum of at least four (4) years and have acquired an additional four (4) years of more progressive engineering experience after conferral of the degree.

Repeats An applicant who fails the examination may retake the examination each April or October within the three year period. The applicant must be approved by the department to retake the examination at the end of the three year period.
