Plain Language Explanation: Amends Section 1502.1 of the Unemployment Insurance Act to provide that an employer's unemployment insurance contribution rate will not increase as the result of the payment of benefits to its employees for any week during which the employer's business is closed solely because of the entrance of the employer, one or more of the partners or officers of the employer, or the majority stockholder of the employer into active duty in the Illinois National Guard or the U.S. Armed Forces. The benefits will become a pooled cost among all Illinois employers subject to the payment of contributions.
